Vanda Pakchong Blue x Srakaew

Our largest orchid for sale! Beautiful specimen that creates gorgeous purple/blue flowers with black dots within the petals. Blooms last over a month or more. Orchid is grown in hanging basket "bare root".

Light: Enjoys bright indirect light. If outdoors hang or strap underneath a full sun tree's canopy. If indoor place near a south facing window. Vandas are sun loving orchids and need sunlight in order to bloom.

Water: If being grown outdoors water once a day. In hot summer heat water twice daily (water before 10AM to avoid scorching leaves or roots. Indoors water every other day, making sure roots are silvery green to green.

Fertilizer: Because orchid is being grown bare root it is very important to fertilize to give proper nutrients. When not in spike use a 20-20-20 water soluble fertilizer. When spike is visible switch to a high phosphorus water soluble fertilizer such as a 11-35-15.
